Cinderelly

Norah loves Cinderella - here she is decked out in a Cinderella dress (its a Cinderella toile, bet you didn't know that even exists), Cinderella headband and coordinating Coach (again, as in Cinderella, not the leather) purse. Also sporting her Princess Picture Pose. :-)

Happy Baby Shower/Luncheon for Dannelle

This afternoon we met for a leisurely lunch at Mothers (YUM) in Portland, celebrating Dannelle and the little boy Butler who will soon be arriving. The Butler women (missing Misty Rose!) Dannelle, Kaye, Katie, Heather, Peggy and Mindy
The Butler women (missing Misty Rose, plus Sherri!) Dannelle, Kaye, Katie, Heather, Peggy, Mindy and Sherri in front.
Josie, Dannelle's baby girl, joined us as well. Unfortunately, she didn't show up in the group shot - but she was there to entertain us with her excessive cuteness.
Dannelle really IS glowing - she looked beautiful today. Grandma Peggy made the blanket she is opening in this pic.
Josie didn't really want to look at the camera today...but she DID want to sit on my lap. :-) OK, I had food for her - but I'll take what I can get!

We can't wait for this boy to arrive! Only three more weeks till Dannelle's due date...he could be here soon!

Slush Day!

This morning it slushy-snowed. To the kids - it was as good as regular snow. :-) Robert and Mindy hurried over so they could play in it with us. Norah and Emerson were dressed in record time, just ready to get out the door!

Fairies

Norah had a late night visit from Aunt Mindy and Uncle Robert today - they are in town for the weekend and brought her a special present! She was delighted with fairy wings and a book about Tinker Bell and her many friends. Mindy and Norah meticulously decorated the wings, then read the book together. Norah was so excited, she didn't get to sleep until after 10pm. Whew, fun can be exhausting. :-)

It's an Easter party!

Off to Grammie's house for an Easter egg hunt - before we are all sticky and stained from the candy extravaganza.

Off to the hunt!
Look - Uncle Dave is caught smiling in a picture!
Uncle Neil and Josie Pie
Uncle Kodiak and Emerson make a run for the eggs

Sweet Hadley - she even finds Easter eggs elegantly!
Emerson enjoyed picking the eggs out of his basket and putting them back where he found them.
Kimmie found all the hardest eggs - the duty of the eldest egg-searcher. :-)
Oh hey - did you know Dannelle is pregnant?

As we are on our way home, I look back to see Norah happily/sleepily sneaking chocolates. :-)

Children's Easter Celebration

Grandma's church is holding a three day Easter celebration, including a special area for children. We met Grammie, Katie, Kimmie, Hadley,Dannelle and Josie there to enjoy. The cultural hall was very beautiful decorated with vignettes from Jesus' life.
Everyone loves crafts!
Really neat children's room. My fine photography really doesn't do it justice. There were areas for dress up, story time, wheat box (you'll see) and crafts.
Oh! Dannelle is pregnant! Has anyone told her today?? Only one more month till little Don arrives (I've taken the liberty of naming both of my nephews-to-be "Don", yes, after me).
A giant tent full of wheat to play in - I forget the significance, but the kids had fun with it. :-)

Scrambled Eggs

Two thumbs up for Easter eggs!

Finally we let Emerson have a drink of the dye...
actually, he enjoyed playing with the empty containers.
I found neat fuzzy bunny stickers - which everyone has pointed out look like playboy bunnies. Norah has no idea - and really likes them!

Josie Pie

Yay - Josie came to visit tonight! My youngest niece manages to hold her own with the rest of her cousins. She is sweet and feisty as can be.
