Fancy Norah

We picked up a second-hand set up china for Norah, for all her fancy tea-party needs. She was very excited because I let her have breakfast using it this morning. :-) Milk mustache from her tea cup! She is looking forward to a tea party with her BFF tomorrow.

After the library we scooted over to Fred Meyer where the MOST WONDERFUL thing in the world occured. Emerson and Norah were both old enough to play in the kids area, while I gorcery shopped without them. Aaaaaah!

Lewisville Park

Our first visit of the year to Lewisville Park - it was a cool but sunny day. We hiked around the park and brought a picnic lunch. Grammie even made a fire.Josie and Emerson, although surrounded by grass and trees, were obsessed with playing in gravel.

Grandpa and Gramma are turning into Snowbirds - we are going to miss them while they are gone! We had a goodbye breakfast this morning with Ryan's sister and fam as well. Today Ryan's dad asked me if I ever had enough photos...hahahahahahahahahahaha...NEVER!

After opening Valentines baskets from Dad, we had a yummy breakfast of homemade cinnamond rolls!

This was my first time with the bread recipe my mom gave me. The rolls were yummy, but the loaf of bread was strange...I need to keep practicing.

OMSI with Gramma and Grandpa

Norah had a special afternoon with Grandpa and Gramma at OMSI. There is a new Da Vinci exhibit to enjoy - Norah did great in all the adult areas - in fact she really enjoyed the paintings and inventions. Her fave - a 360 degree mirrored room where she could watch herself dance from all angles.

Mom taught me how to bake homemade bread this afternoon. What I made under her supervision was really good...but I am sure its going to take lots of practice to get it right by myself!

Scooter crazy

Danelle and I took the kids to church to play inside today - we brought our scooters and N&E scootered around and around and around and around... Blessed relief!

This cute little boy is in Norah's preschool class -she REALLY likes him. He gave her rides on the back of his big wheel. I hope this doesn't translate to an adult love of motorcycle rides. ;-)

Emerson was way too short for this, but he sure tried hard to make it go!

Josie is a total collector - she loves to gather things and carry them around. It was really funny to watch her try and gather up all the big toys and haul them around with her.

Valentines Play Date

Our new friend, Eileen, invited us over for a fun Valentines play date. She has a great layout for the kids and Norah and Emerson were in playtime heaven! They couldn't barely handle their sadness when we had to leave. :-) Eileen even planned a cute Valentines craft for us to take home. Thank you!

Books and Gramps

We broke Gramps out of his house this morning and took him to Borders! N&E love him so much - he is very patient with them and they seem equally delighted with each other.

Brunette!

After a lifetime of maintaining a blonde head of one shade or another...I've gone brunette! Wow, how liberating. I am sure the blonde will someday return, but for now I am enjoying this new experience!
